  1. Do I need a degree to have a career in Allied Health?
  2. Yes, with the exception of being a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Diagnostic Radiographer & Radiation Therapist - Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) need at least a recognised degree specific to their chosen area of practice.  Clinical Psychology requires a Masters degree.

    Course from recognised overseas institutions.
    Occupational Therapy Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
    Diagnostic Radiography Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
    Radiation Theraphy Diploma or Degree in Radiation Therapy
    Optometry Diploma or Degree in Optometry Singapore Polytechnic or
    Course from recognised overseas institutions.
    Speech Therapy Degree or Graduate Entry Masters in Speech Language Pathology

    National University of Singapore or

    Course from recognised overseas institutions.
    Medical Social Work Degree in Social Work
    Clinical Psychology Degree in Psychology & Masters in Clinical Psychology
    Pharmacy Degree in Pharmacy
    Medical / Laboratory Technology Degree in Biomedical Science / Biomedical Technology
    Dietetics Degree in Dietetics Course from recognised overseas institutions.
    Podiatry Degree in Podiatry
    Prosthetics & Orthotics Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics
    Respiratory Therapy Degree in Respiratory Therapy
    Audiology Degree in Audiology
